Sharks are big, savage, terribly frightening creatures. They’re not the most pleasant of surprises when encountered underwater. Not even when they’re smaller than you are. Yet sharks are surprising, beautiful creatures and most of them are not even dangerous. Out of 360 species only four are considered dangerous: the great white shark, the oceanic whitetip shark, the tiger shark and the bull shark (which is the only shark that can also be found in rivers).
Still, it’s very likely that the first thing you think about when you hear the word shark is more or less…
