Would you like to go to a place where nature is serene and inviting, when the sea is incredibly blue and the beach is white and sandy? Have you ever been to Seychelles?

Seychelles, officially the Republic of Seychelles, is an island country spanning an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, northeast of the island of Madagascar. The islands are either granite (the Inner islands) or coral islands (the Outer Islands).

The Seychelles Inner Island is the cultural and economic center of the Seychelles and also where the main tourist attractions are. Once arrived at the airport of Mahé, you can choose whether to stay in the Inner Islands or venture to one of The Outer Islands, which are more remote, unspoiled little worlds.

Seychelles has a warm all year round (32-24 degrees) climate, without extremes. The cuisine is like its people, a mix of traditions and flavors: French influences come together with the spiciness of the Indian dishes and the piquant flavors of the East.

One of Seychelle’s most delicious dishes is the grilled fish and octopus seasoned with a sauce of crushed red pepper, ginger and garlic, as well as a delicious curry made with coconut milk.

The best of these islands is that apart from lying on the beautiful beaches, there is much more to do.

When in Seychelles, you could visit the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Aldabra, the largest emerged coral atoll in the world and the Vallee de Mai on Praslin, believed to be the original site of the Garden of Eden.

A walk in the Vallée de Mai will allow you to catch a glimpse of Coco de Mer, with its uniquely shaped fruit and in La Digue, a 30 km boat ride from Praslin, you can experience the lifestyle of the people who were born on the island, wonderfully traditional and unhurried.

You could also take a cruise on a sailing boat, snorkel and dive to explore the natural treasures of the islands.

Whatever you choose to do, and whatever your idea of vacation is ( romantic, lazy or adventurous) Seychelles is the perfect place to disconnect for a few days or a few weeks.
