The weather is getting better and many of you are starting to think about your summer holidays. At eDreams we have compiled a list of some of the nicest destinations for a beach holiday.
1. The Maldives
This is a dream destination which is famous for its powder sand beaches, turquoise lagoons and underwater coral gardens. If you can afford to go to the Maldives you should make it your next destination. It is perfect for couples, newlyweds……
2. Cinque Terre, Italy
Renowned for its natural beauty, Cinque Terre is part of the Italian Rivera and its steep terraced cliffs, five villages and National Park are all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The most popular beach is located in Monterosso, one of the five villages in Cinque Terre.
3. Santorini, Greece

It is hard to believe that Santorini is the result of a volcanic eruption. Or maybe that is what makes it so unique with its dreamlike landscape and its beaches which range in colour….red, black and white.
4. San Sebastian, Spain
The Basque Country is completely different from the rest of Spain….it is green, lush and mountainous. San Sebastian is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain, Playa de la Concha, and it attracts mainly Spanish holidaymakers.

10. The North Antrim Coast, Northern Ireland
Perhaps you won’t have great weather….in fact, it is
highly unlikely that you will be sunbathing on these beaches. However, the beaches of the North Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland, including Portstewart Strand, Portrush beach, Castlerock beach and the White Rocks are some of the most beautiful beaches you will come across and the waves are spectacular for windsurfing, body boarding and many locals also love to go cliff jumping. Just remember your wetsuit.
