Renowned for its natural beauty, Cinque Terre is part of the Italian Rivera and its steep terraced cliffs, five villages and National Park are all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The most popular beach is located in Monterosso, one of the five villages in Cinque Terre.
3. Santorini, Greece
It is hard to believe that Santorini is the result of a volcanic eruption. Or maybe that is what makes it so unique with its dreamlike landscape and its beaches which range in colour….red, black and white.
4. San Sebastian, Spain
The Basque Country is completely different from the rest of Spain….it is green, lush and mountainous. San Sebastian is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain, Playa de la Concha, and it attracts mainly Spanish holidaymakers.
5. Cape Verde, Africa
Take your pick from 10 islands that make up the country of Cape Verde. The best thing about an island country is that you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. Boa Vista and Sal are the two islands most renowned for their beaches and water sporting opportunities.
6. Corsica, France
Corsica is located in the Mediterranean and it is famous for its long sandy beaches, mountains and forests. Make sure you take some time out from sunbathing to explore the Lavezzi Islands, an archipelago in the Strait of Bonifacio where you can discover the underwater world.
7. State of Bahia, Brazil
The tropical climate, long coastline and spectacular landscape are just some of the attractions that await you in the Brazilian State of Bahia.
8. CĂ´te d’Azur, France
The CĂ´te d’Azur or French Riveria and its micro climate make it a great destination for year round sunshine. The picture-perfect views of the ocean, the white sandy beaches and the cosmopolitan extravagant lifestyle of the rich and famous who come here on holiday are just some of the attractions.
9. Menorca, Spain
One of the quietest of the Balearic Islands is Menorca and this rock in the ocean has lots of secret coves, isolated beaches and towering cliffs waiting to be discovered. It is possible to discover all of the islands by hiring a car and exploring. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island is Platja Cavalleria.
10. The North Antrim Coast, Northern Ireland
Perhaps you won’t have great weather….in fact, it is 
highly unlikely that you will be sunbathing on these beaches. However, the beaches of the North Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland, including Portstewart Strand, Portrush beach, Castlerock beach and the White Rocks are some of the most beautiful beaches you will come across and the waves are spectacular for windsurfing, body boarding and many locals also love to go cliff jumping. Just remember your wetsuit.
